Transparency: Punishments Are Now Public

We've launched a public punishment list. You can now see every ban, mute, warning and kick issued on the network at [link].

| Why we're doing this

Moderation works best when you can see it. Until now, punishments happened behind the scenes, and that made it easy for rumors to spread about who got banned, why, and whether staff were being fair. You won't have to guess any longer.

Every punishment is on record, with the reason, the staff member who issued it, and how long it lasts.

This keeps us accountable as much as it does players.

If we made a mistake, you can see it now too. We want to push transparency first, but also make it easier for players to spot and report mistakes.

| What you can see;

  • Bans, mutes, warnings and kicks
  • The reason for each punishment
  • Who issued it and when
  • Whether it's active, expired or revoked

You can search by player name to look up any account, including your own.

| What stays private

IP addresses and other personal information are never shown. If an account is banned for ban evasion, the list won’t show which account it’s linked to, unless staff choose to include that in the reason.

| Think a punishment was a mistake?

You can appeal through [Create-a-ticket]

This doesn't change the appeal process! Our transparency aims to keep things fair, not as a way to argue with our decisions. Appealing does not automatically grant you an unban.

Thanks for helping keep SuperSMP a fair, and super place to play!
